Punta Ala is a perfect base to discover the most evocative medieval villages in Maremma and also the towns and cities of Tuscany famous for their art. Jewels such as Castiglione della Pescaia on the coast, as well as Scarlino, Gavorrano and Massa Marittima set inland, are only 10 to 20 minutes driving time from the hotel. The more adventurous can travel further afield to visit the following towns and cities: Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, and Viareggio with Grosseto being the nearest.
